Product Brief
Stocky Console is a middleware solution that interfaces downstream supply
chain with the Corporate ERP, handing over data flow control to the corporate
/ business heads.
Stocky Console has an open interface to accept transactional information
in a pre-defined format through an excel spreadsheet / XML file/CSV/DBF.
Objectives
Stocky Console is a middleware solution which will enable corporates to
control the flow of master data pertaining to products, pricing and promotions,
and transactional information like purchase invoice, from the Corporate
ERP to the downstream supply chain. Conversely, it will also help corporates
get required information like stock & sales, from the downstream supply
chain more accurately. Additionaly, it will reduce the burden on downstream
scm applications of repeatedly entering master information such as product
master, purchase invoice etc. This will in effect reduce the overall time
spent on performing a single '2 way data traffic' cycyle. Components
Brief This middleware solution has
three major components - Stocky Console: The front end consists of the Console web application.
The application will allow corporate users to configure, view and edit
master and transactional information, enable user management for its
users, and view status of claims and data uploaded/transferred.
- ETL Manager: Data will be upload daily to the Corporate FTP Server.
The ETL Extraction, Transmission & Loading) Manager will verify and
validate all data for its authenticity and integrity and sync it with
the OLTP (OnLine Transaction Processing) database.
- Analyzer: This Business Intelligence Tool (BI Tool) Will use the data
available at the web server to perform various analysis, as required
by the corporate.
Data Transfer Methodology - Distributors/Sales Force need to collate the data at the end of the
day.*
- C&FAs need to collate the data at the end of the day.*
- Sales & Stock information from C&FA / Distributor in XML/XSV/XLS/DBF
will be sent to the Middleware Sever as email attachments / FTP / HTTP
Upload.
- A Web interface will be made available for distributors / C&FAs to
enter data, in case they do not use any application.
