As a major diversification launch, the group has Ventured into harnessing
wind for generating electric power through windmills in the state of Tamil Nadu,
South India.
- The 25 Wind Electric Generators (WEG ) are 225 KVa capacity
each and are erected at our wind farm to generate 5.625 MW power
- at a height of 30 metres.
- Location - At Palavoor Village about 30 km. from Nagarcoil,
in Kanyakumari District in South India.
- The annual average wind speed at our site is more than 19.8
km. per hour and is the most ideal wind speed recommended for
a successful windfarm.
